www.drummerworld.com - bassistworld?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi TB'ers,

have been an avid forum reader for many weeks now, and want to thank the forum in general for introducing me to the grooviest bass ever, that of the great James Jamerson. He has single-handedly reignited my dream of playing bass, i went straight out and bought a beginners bass book as well as standing in the shadows of motwon just to listen to!

Before i waffle on (as i'd say my story is similar to many before), i would like to ask a favour; i came across this site by chance, and was wondering if there was a bass equivalent out there?

I don't know, but I wish they would put out a bass magazine as good as Modern Drummer is for drummers.

I agree drummerworld is a great site!

It would be really cool if TB had a section with bassist bios and soundclips. 'Til then there's always google I guess!

Check out Sandy Nelson.
