| I love Wyo. I've lived there twice in my life. When I was very young (about age 3 to 5) I lived in Cheyenne with my parents.
Then, from 1996-1998 I lived there with my wife and stepson, in Laramie.
I live very near the coast now, and wouldn't want to give that up, and I'm too old to want to mess with the winters in most of the state anymore, but I know there are many places in Wyoming I could happily live.
I love the wide spaces and the mountains. The people are the salt of the earth.
One thing that struck me about Wyoming is that if you are just passing through it on an interstate, you don't necessarily see how beautiful it really is. But get a little off the beaten path and whoo boy! So much beauty.
Another thing I love about it is that Wyoming is a place where people can go if they want to be left alone to do their own thing. People aren't nosy and seem very accepting of others living their lives they way they see fit. Very "live and let live" attitude, at least from what I encountered.
