After our last tour Lava's vice pres. checked out our show at the Roxy... he liked us so much we played at the Viper Room as a show case for Lava only. it was wired to play for 2 people but I guess we did it...
Lava made us have a lawyer before they would even talk to us... Lawyer's is a big deal in this game!

What are they doing for us.. well we will have to see.. as for right now they are paying my bills.... making us re-record the cd and having Chris lord Aligi mix the singles... other than that we will have to see..

That's a pretty good start. I hope that you didn't give up your publishing rights to your music.

It's Alge, not Aligi. lol.

This is awesome, I wish you guys the best.

That's great news, congrats!

Just watch out for the 'recoupables'.

Traditional deal or "360' structure? (just curious what newly signed bands are being offered these days...)

'recoupables' Ya that was the 1st thing we fixed along with the "sunset claus"... btw this is our 3rd and final copy.. so I think where there...

Not a 360 deal.... more like a traditional deal I guess.. never got to this point with any other bands...

That's good. The 360 'phenomenon' is already losing momentum. A good concept that didn't really benefit new artists (imo).

Yeah, those sunset clauses can really bite you! Often overlooked until you try to start afresh someday.

Have fun, don't go out & buy a boat (yet) & most importantly- have fun!
