That's a very fast two finger style.

Fretwank yet again - oh dear!

This stuff does absolutely nothing for me. I prefer to hear songs being played, and like to hear melodies.

Playing like that in the clip is basically practicing your instrument in public.

Thanks for posting that.
I rather enjoy a good bass wank now and then.
A guilty pleasure if you will.

Can you use an afro-pick to do bass slides?

If people want to play this kind of thing I have absolutely no idea why they play bass.

They should go listen to some Larry Graham/Justin Chancellor/Nathan Watts and realise great bass playing is all about the songs.

Really? You thought it was groovy? I thought it was the opposite of groove. Not just the absence of it, like dark is to light, but some sort of groove black hole, sucking in all the groove around it. A type of Anti-Groove.

Now I have to to listen to "Hot Pants" 20 times in a row to restore my internal groove tanks. Feel free to join me:

No Hating here!
It sounded like Afro-Pick was getting it done but Malmsteens "wheedley-wanking" just wasn't meshing.
