Question You know your a bass geek when.

(I've actually done all these in real life)

Feel free to add to this list.

1. You E-Mail the bassist in a Van Halen cover band to tell them how good he/they were.

2. Playing air bass in rock clubs/pubs seems "cool".

3. Jack Daniel's shaped bass guitars are an object you would like to own.

4. You get "upset" that Bon Jovi doesn't really feature the new bass player on there videos any more.

5. It really cool to you that your bass teacher a, knows who Billy Sheehan actually is and b, can actually plan like him!

It's so good not to be the only person in the world to have played Air bass, I can't stop myself I feel like I'm cheating if I don't do it.

And mis-spells "you're"- this indicates a life spent paying attention to low notes.

7. You watch bands playing on TV and get frustrated when they either don't show the bass player, or show clips of him so short you can't figure out what bass he (or she) is playing.

You know the names of various bands' bass players, but not any other members of those bands.

I'll second that. I want to see that bass player!

11. Dozing off late at night, waking up, and realizing your bass is still in your hands.

12.Despite just waking up, finding something to play, just because your bass is still in your hands.
