Youngest Marcus Miller Fan

I believe my baby daughter, who is two and a half, is Marcus Miller's youngest fan. Ever since I played "Blast" for her in March, she absolutely loves Marcus Miller and gets happy when she ses his picture. Today she came pretty close to sitting through the performance DVD part of Master of Trades, something pretty impressive for a toddler! She also always wants me to stop playing when she hears me! I guess she already understands that Daddy is way short of Marcus Miller!

I don't know. My son's 7 months and his eyes lit up when I played some MM on my computer, but then again his eyes light up when I play anything on the computer, or anything period. Aren't kids great?

My 10 month old daughter gets excited when I pull out my bass. She seems to have some rhythm to her as she moves to the beat of the music really well. I think she will take interest in bass when she gets older. The world could use some more female players so I will definitely encourage it if she takes interest.

My daughter loved Marcus at 3 years or so! She'd make her "funk face" when she heard him, too. She was also a big miles fan, and would often ask for Charlie Haden's Quartet West (which she called "that sad music")

Now she's into Miley Cyrus
