Hendrix...Yeah, he played a mean bass too. Listen to All Along the Watchtower.. that's him on bass.. Bet you weren't expecting this as an answer! Second choice would be Tommy Shannon.

Tal Wilkenfeld.

Both for her amazing skill... and beauty.

But more so her skill, as she is one of my biggest influences.

I'd go for Jamerson if it wasn't for his technique, I'd go for Wooten if it wasn't for his 'spiritual' methods, and I'd go for Jaco if it weren't for the fact that he seems like the worst guy to teach anyone.
For that reason I'd choose Martin Mendez - bass player for Opeth, as I really love his style, it's subtle, fairly simple, yet musical.
Then again, I'd like to learn from Tony Levin or Ryan Martinie... but that would require a flexible band

God damnit this is too hard, you need a disclaimer!

Maaaann....sooo many people I would love to get a lesson from...

Marcus Miller, Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham, Flea, Stu Hamm, Nathan East, Ryan Martinie, or Ben Kenney. But if it was a gun to my head, I'd say Flea because he would be the one most eager to teach you
