Lemmy, Jack Bruce, Mike Watt and Nick Lowe. They couldn't just teach me about bass (who cares about bass) but about philosophy, life and everything else.

I take lessons from a monster of a player. His name is Scott Pazera. He has alot of videos on youtube. He is a great groover and can also bust out a blazing, spectaculat solo

My current bass teacher, Kai Eckhardt. Monster player and one of the genuine nicest people I have ever met. He has tought at Victors bass camp, played with John Mcloughlin and Stanley Clarke and there isn't bragging bone in his body. He is pulling MY own style out of me rather than making me a copy of someone else.

Joe Osborn.

The way he "plays to the song." So lyrical, melodic, but always supporting the song properly.

Jason Newsted, a very cool, down to earth guy who I think would be able to make bass lessons a lot of fun and a lot of cool bass jamming.
