I guess that pretty much ends the "Tone is in your hands" argument.

+1 MarloweDK, totally my favourite player now, makes me want to go back to passive basses!

Lydia, Mike Flynn, Bryan Tyler (hi guys!), Marco Panascia...

L-dia the most, she plays good, sings good AND is easy on the eyes (unlike you three uglies).

I forgot ResonantDoghouse, what an incredible bassist!

Honestly, it depends on the song... but the last guy I thought was cool was FuryMuso he did a great cover of Hysteria.

I don't think these are great, nor are they my favorite players. But I just had to share these little curiosities.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kZlWJoC9nk

This guy is a total Jaco imposter. Even down to the thumbs. I actually thought it was Jaco to begin with.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZtrK...eature=related

This guy is a total Justin Chancellor imposter. He has the excact same gear and seemingly only plays TOOL stuff.

As mentioned before, Lydia (for the two obvious reasons!)

Then the big no.1 has to be Victor Wooten.
No.2 would be Tal Wilkenfeld.

Oh, no! It seems that his YouTube account has been suspended! (Maybe because of copyright claims? ) I really enjoyed his covers.

There's a great clip of NHOP with Oscar, Dizzy and Clark Terry from Montreux 1977. Find it! It's worth it.
