As I've mentioned here before a friend of mine is in the process of writing a biography of late Elton John bassist Dee Murray, she plans to include a section of input from individual bass players who enjoy and/or were inspired by Dee's playing. She is just about to start the actual writing so I thought I'd mention it here one last time in case anyone who wanted to, but hasn't yet, can submit their thoughts.
