I don't know if anyone here has seen his videos, he's a guy from Switzerland who seems to be mainly influenced by Flea/RHCP. He's been playing for about a year and a half.

There was one cover he did, however, of Stevie Wonder's "Sir Duke" that really blew me away. At the time of the video he had been playing for about a year and 2 months, so here it is:

He has some serious improv chops, particularly for his age and playing time, no?

For real. I've been playing 2.4 years. I've got some catching up to do.

I wish I had played that good when I had only played a little over a year. That was some 12 years ago. I barely remember what I sounded like then.

The guy has some skills. His cover of Killing in the Name was really funky and well-done. He also did a bunch of other good ones. He's either naturally good or he's lying about how long he's played. Probably has the inborn talent .

He's really good. You'd be more impressed by my playing though haha. I don't meant to be in competetion, I'm just jealous. There's already a thread on this kid though.,

I'm amazed that he's only been playing for such a short time. Great stuff.

Nice for such a short time. I wonder what kind of set-up he has.

Cool kid. Great take on a great song. I love it when younger guys (did that make me sound 65?) play stuff like Stevie and appreciate that wonderful music! Rock on who ever you are.

He has a Music Man Stingray, a Fender (unknown whether J or P), an Ibanez ATK (which he may have sold), and a GK Stack: Backline 600, 410 and maybe a 15 or another 410 at the bottom, I can't tell for sure.

I wish I had that set-up after a year and a half of playing.

Screw the rig, I wish I had his talent after a year and-a-half.

Amen to that. Of course, I'm not even at the year-and-a-half mark yet, so we'll just see...
