Brian Bromberg

Well I have been listening to Brian Bromberg a lot lately. Both his solo album "Wood" and his other works and they are all amazing. I am wondering just how he reaches those mach speeds and how he pulls off some of the things he does. I would think that it has to do with a bunch of pull offs but then it doesn't sound like all pull offs. I wouldn't think it would be tapping on the upright. Any ideas on his technique because he seems to come back to those riffs or patterns quite often. Just thought it would be pretty sweet to have in ones arsenal lol.

I've never listened to him, but I read an interview with him years ago in which he discussed his acoustic bass tapping technique.
