| Catch NEA Jazz Masters at NPR.org Jazz What a great show, with Ron Carter as one of the 'house band' members. The audio clips are great (perhaps skip the pain of Mose Allison's daughter singing with his great piano playing).
The video is long but the quality is excellent. The stories told are wonderful! Watching Ron Carter is always a treat, but with drummer Jimmy Cobb they really hit it.
You can jump past some of the non-musical content, but it would have been worth it to sit through the whole thing, IMO.
Interesting that the Epifani rig is head height. The sound quality is very good throughout, which is a nice touch for an internet streaming program.
