Christian McBride was on the morning news show, TV2, in Detroit this morning being interviewed and played a solo of "Frankie and Johnny". Promoting the Detroit International Jazz Festival at the end of August. Video clip should be on

That's one beat up upright bass he's playing, but man does it sound sooooooo goooood! He improvs off the melody and the turnaround is sweet. He throws in some tasteful double stops and the runs are awesome, as always.
