Always sounds great, lots of great ideas. I'm lucky enough to study with him and those lessons are always the highpoint of my week musically. |

He has such a fat sound, which is obviously all in the hands, but I'm just curious ya know? That's very cool that you get to study with him, he is killing for sure.
Adam Kolker! amazing version of Green Chimneys! thanks for turning me onto that

I owned his old Walter Woods for a minute. I think he's using an ampeg now. (who cares? . . . . ) like you say, it's in the hands. |

Not easy to fit in on that gig because that core ensemble has been together for a while. And it's a nearly all originals book. (And what gorgeous originals they are).
If the Fellowship is working this year, I'm not sure who their bassist is at the moment. I think Chris Thomas may be moving on to other things. |

| | | | Hi all,
Went to H.S. with Doug in Illinois and think it's great that he's made a name for himself. If anyone knows how to get in touch with him, can you shoot me a pm? I'd love to get back in touch with him. Thanks, and sorry for acting a bit like a troll (I'm not--I'm a true jazzbo, just not a player). |
