Friday Night Jazz @ the Phila. Museum of Art does it again. Charles Fambrough

& Tony Miceli on vibs.

This was a powerhouse duo. Some incredibly fine jazz. A small crowd got a big performance.

Check out his latest CD, I am. It's high up on the charts.
It is going to be the first CD I have bought since I was laid off over three months ago.

Anyone want tell us about this Philadelphia native bassist?

I have heard he has played with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Stanley Turentine and Roy Hargrove (not familiar with this musician). He plays at Philly's Zanzabar Blue Jazz Club, from which the title of his CD is derived, "LIVE @ ZANZIBAR BLUE".
