GARY KARR's FIRST INTERVIEW for a website more photos

Dear Forum,
in the work of Journalist I've asked maestro Karr to give me
an interview and inedite photos.
If someone has interested can visit my site
here: http://vitoliuzzi.jimdo.com

I call it "free site" because there's only one advertisemnt (sorry for my English) and it's no a professional website.
No one pays me! Perhaps the others should have pay me

Btw, I do it just with the intention to develope what I define: "The Culture of Double Bass". If a classic doublebass player would like to have one of my reviews, can contact me.

Then I must decide what doing, because my megabytes are limitated.

Regards

Vito

TheWolf,
thanks a lot! But this isn' t a professional web site and my photos aren' t so good.

Btw these are the maestro Karr's words about my little site
before giving the interview: "I'm not surprised by the success of your new website. It's outstanding and has more information than any other website for the contrabbasso. Your design is simple to use, very well organized and very attractive to the eye. I love your photos of your technique with the bow. They are a very useful tool for teachers and students. In fact, the entire website is a gold mine of information. Bravo to you, Vito, for creating this excellent reference source for anyone interested in our instrument. What you accomplished is nothing short of brilliant! "
When I've readed these words ... I was very surprised !!

Thanks a lot, Paul!
Surely Gary Karr will continue to collaborate in this my project. I hope to have interviews from other great doublebass players. I spent my free time in this site absolutely free.

Ciao

What a big honour, Moderator Joshua!

Probably I will change the site and pay for it, but I will have more tools and no advertisements by Jimdo and so none will be able to delete it. Now it's no sure!

But in my free time I will add exercises, explanations, links, interviews and much more because I'm a professor of Double Bass and I like to teach.

Probably someone will be no happy with my own technique.
There are no problems. The intention is to develope the "CULTURE of OUR SO LOVED DOUBLE BASS" in every manner. If you follow only one method you might be limitated.

I will try to explain how to obtain a fast "ricochet" or "sautillè"
or "volteggio very balzato" and the different manners to obtain different manners of "vibrato" and much more.

For me it's a beautiful thing in my free time to add my own
technical exercises which everyone can copy (click on the image and save it into your computer).

An so on ...

See you

Vito Liuzzi

And might I add how much I've been enjoying your playlist during my morning web-surf!

Cheers!
