Monk's SICK!!!

BTW I'm playing some of his tunes on thursday with the school band. It'll be a pretty unorthodox format: drums, TWO basses, piano, flute and THREE guitars. It's going to be a BALL!!!

How bout Larry and Ben Riley on the Monk "Live at The It Club"? He gets a lot of space and (for you newbies who are looking for walking lines to transcribe) on almost every tune plays his first chorus as a nearly unaccompanied walking line.
