Larry Steen

Anyone heard larry Steen? Check out his album "view from afar" (Larry Steen World Jazz Ensemble). He's the only guy I've heard who can play jazz, classical arco & BG at the highest level. What a staggering talent. Don't expect shredding though - everything he plays is just so, right. The music itself (which is also mostly his own) is a joy. Best album I've heard in ages.

I had the pleasure of working with Larry Steen for 2 weeks one on one in late July. He is an absolute amazing musician and a true master of his craft. He really loves the bass and it is true that he is extremely talented at classical arco, jazz upright/electric, and electric bass altogether.
