There was a thread about women bassists, I was goning to write on that thread but I though that this girl deverses her own thread.
Mary Ann Sweeney, album is called " Thoughts of You", she's a great composer, arranger and guess what?!, she's got a great fat and full sound, it's amazing you see the pic and she kind of look small next to her bass, but she can beat that beast real hard, nice phrasing, very nice album, very refreshing, check it out if you hace a chance.
