Totally worth an 8 hour drive from Texas, imo. Oscar is a true latin master and I'm sure Paul isn't too bad either. The only downside, it's in Mississippi! j/kin

| | | | Yup Yup it's free. Yeah Ellison is great, I don't think you get to teaching at rice if your not a fairly good player I can't wait, it's a good ways away but I am already excited. It appears as if I will be playing in the master class so it's good that I have some time to work up my piece. |

Almost worth the drive for me....I live in MS but it is a good 6 hours from my part of MS.

| | | | Man, if your in the state you HAVE to make it. Hell depending on your age I can even let you stay in my dorm so you don't have to buy a room. 5 hours is nothing for two days of awesomeness. |

I'd never stoop to hogging a teacher of his calibre all for myself.

| | | I am going to bump this because the event is in 10 days. Also if you register for the event before the 17th you will be entered into a drawing for a set of Corelli strings and a Laney RB6 ( http://www.activemusician.com/item--HS.RB6). Of course you have to show up to receive the prizes. Come help USM start a great tradition! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
