Nat Baldwin

Anybody ever check this guy out? I was checking out the Stone's calendar in NY and saw he was playing solo bass and vocals so I checked out some of his music. Really nice stuff. Sometimes poppy, sometimes not poppy at all (check out the solo improvisation). Here's a link to his myspace page:

Hey adam,
Ever checked out a montreal bass player named miles perkin? He does solo bass and incorporates theo bleckmann esque vocals...as well as having his own ensemble called common thread that has harp and pedal steel with saxophones. He studied composition with brookmeyer, and also with mark helias. I'll check out Nat tho when I get home from work...Hope all is well on the east coast!
