Sad indeed. Great though that he finally was getting the accolades that he deserved...even though it was late in life.

Always sad when a giant passes. Maybe he gets to jam with Ray Brown now?

IMHO, it's sad that he's gone, it's sad for anyone who's passed, but I'm also at peace that he's in a better place now. He'll always be alive in the music that he's given to us. R.I.P. Sir...
