Nah, he's not that good, the loop pedal does all the work... Cheater... pffff ... ; )
On a serious note, that performance is outstanding, I ripped the audio a few weeks ago and it's been in heavy rotation in my player ever since.

I'm currently woodshedding on the
title track
to the CD La Linea de Sur. Here's the
melody transcription
I did a while back.
I play the melody one octave down, but there's still so much to concentrate on...
