Robert Vizvari (+video)

Solo piece (doublebass + piano)

http://student.fiit.stuba.sk/~zary04...20-%20solo.avi

I don't know exactly how old is this shot, but for sure it's not new.

This man is now member of Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra (soloist) . Also he is very gifted bassplayer. Groove, rhytm and very nice melodic soloing.

Enjoy.

O.K. so I've heard some of it...but I don't get a video feed, just audio.

Any suggestions?

Try watching it with realplayer instead of Windows Media Audio. For some reason, I only got audio on Windows Media, but when I used realplayer, it worked (after I downloaded some update that it promted me to get).

Anyway, cool video. Yeah, you can tell how old it is though. Pretty amazing performance. Does anybody else think he takes it a bit too fast? I like Gary Karr's performance in the Karrdiology DVD better though. It's a bit slower (not too slow), and much more musical, I think.

Hey thanks ClassicalBass. I upgraded Realplayer and downloaded the divx...now the video works.

Not bad. That six string looks pretty awesome. I liked the song, but really hated the keyboard. It just sounded bad, in my opinion. Both bass playing and sax were outstanding though.
