I came to Scott LaFaro, backwards- through Bill Frisell, and Frisell's association with Motian, and then Motian's association with Bill Evans and LaFaro.
As I listen to this interview (see link), I miss LaFaro even more. It's a Motian interview, but LaFaro is mentioned, and may be of interest: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...toryId=5256495
