it's a shame, I really loved his playing with the revolutionary ensemble and his work on the Arthur Blythe album illusions.

Ahhh, too bad.... too young. I used to listen to the Revolutionary Ensemble in the morning to blast the cobwebs off.

He was a great player. I was not aware until I read the coverage of his passing, that he had worked as an R & B session player.
