Going through his mother's personal effects, a friend has discovered some letters from Leroy (Slam) Stewart. Apparently his mother enjoyed a dalliance with Slam during the '50s and the letters are of a personal nature, but refer to experiences in the music business.
Given my adulation of Stewart, these letters are akin to letters from Abraham Lincoln, or Ghandi.
My friend has scanned these letters and has agreed to have them published, or at least shown to those interested.
Would anyone here be interested in seeing these? I welcome suggestions for a proper way to go about it and also welcome any offers for web hosting the images or transcriptions.

It is 6 JPEG files, a total of 1MB. I'll send them any who request. |

I bought a copy of a CD called "Groove Juice Special" by Slim and Slam on Planet Records for $1.00 U.S. in a shop in the Ukraine a couple of years ago. Great tunes, "China Doll","B-19" and many more. Best dollar I ever spent! |
