Does anyone have any information on bassist Steve Davis?
Specifically, why he was let go from the Coltrane quartet? I’ve scoured several books, and all over the internet, but can’t find any information.

Any info about him after the Coltrane gig?
Is he still around and playing?

I just find it odd that there's almost no info about him...he was even listed as ART Davis on Wikipedia (I know, I know!!!)
I changed it...
