hey all - the other night I was playing in times square and on my break i wondered into Sofia a jazz place near by and saw Ed Fuqua - hell of a great bass player. great bass lines and nice melodic solos - Ed was nice enough to ask me to sit in a play a tune- and what a treat it was to play his nice bass - thanks Ed ..keep on keepin.

Hey anytime man, you play nice. Nick (the pianist) was saying that he really dug your time feel (both comp and solo) a lot.

Andrew was playing with a really wonderful pianist, Ray Gallon, who's done some playing with TS Monk's band, among others.
