Tiger Lillies - Crack of Doom

Have never posted in the Double Bass portion of the site, hope I'm welcome haha.

I guess here he's playing an electric double bass, or they just got an awesome mic, cause I for one love his tone. Maybe you guys can let me know what he's jammin, not really familiar with double bass.

Looks like an Eminence electric upright. Sounds like straight pickup to me.

Great clip.

I've seen these guys a couple of times, and it's definitely one of the Eminence basses. As far as I could see at the gigs, it's just the pickup run direct. I think they travel pretty light, with the eminence and a crazy toy drum kit that fits in a couple of suitcases.

Yea I stumbled upon them cause I'm a big fan of good falsetto and of course of bass haha. Dude's good, the whole band is tight, but yea, the drummer's kit is tiny but he gets a lot of sounds out of it haha.
