| Tommy Williams I just got the Art Farmer/Benny Golson Complete Jazztet Recordings Mosaic box set. Mosaic also included two solo recordings by each of them (Golson and Farmer) done around the same time with piano, bass and drums. Both of the Art Farmer disc's feature the VERY UNDERRATED bassist Tommy Williams. Not only was he a great time keeper with a great sound but also a very lyrical soloist. Benny Golson was quoted in 2004 as saying he hated to follow one of William's solos as he "put horn players to shame". One particular stand out is his feature on the less played standard "So Beats My Heart".
