Anyone know any good Bass luthiers in Houston Tx?

I want to find a shop to where I can take my bass so that the luthier may determine whether or not it needs some modifications such as larger bridges in order to be suitable for 5ths tuning.

BTW, the only luthier shops I know is Richsound Violins. His violins, violas, and cellos are certainly wonderful, but his shop doesn't seem to be too specialized in basses.

Phillip Golde is a fantastic luthier who I'm sure could help you out. His number on Gollihur's luthier listing. Last time I spoke with him, he was incredibly overbooked and wasn't taking any new work...but that was in early August. Peter Shaw at Amati Violin is also great.

You might try Mr. Wu, the head guy at Lisle Violin on Bissonnet. He cut a decent bridge for my bass and his English is getting better.
