I plan on using mine in public transport (us europeans ya know), and such i imagine as many handles as possible, and am I right in thinking softcase? Backstrap also, wheels would be helpful, but they seem rare on cases. I prefer thick as hell 25mm, 1" padding and rough cordura for my EB case, and i guess same would be good here.
Also, how about the uphostrling for bridge protection? I have a plywood bass, so it's not made of glass exactly.
as always, as cheap as possible since i'm a student.

This might be a good place to start. Decent bag for DB

Anyways, i just measiured my bass, and compared to the above linked that I'm considering. How am I to interpret the inside measurements when compared to mine of the bass. I noticed that mine is just as tall as the inside measurement with the ebony thing at the enpin, and that the side measurement is also on the centimeter, while the upper bout and lower bout each are about 2,5cm or 1" wider than my bass.
Anyone who knows if that makes any sense, how good a fit it might be, or if there is anything else i should think about?

Your profile says that you are in Sweden. I thought the link might be useless, but threw it out there just in case.
Looks like a good bag for the price.

How bad is shipping across EU borders ( I am assuming of course, both of your countries are in the EU)? If the shipping wouldn't be that bad, I think you should keep it in mind. As someone who lives in a place where often I have to order from hundreds, even thousands of kilometers away, if someone in a nearby country has what you need, what's the problem? I mean, I am big on support of local business, but if they don't have what you need you need to get it where you can get it, correct?
good luck finding what you need,

However it turns out a local dealer has his own case brand, for basically the same price, but a little more public transportation optimized (Handles and straps different, otherwise the same specifications and price - about 300$, or 225 Euro).
@shipping: It's not that bad, but it's very individual to the individual retailers...
