I have a cedar log for sale....it would probably make at least a hundred soundposts. FYI...I'm not going to wrap it for shipping. Just slap an address label on it....or I can just float it upriver to you.

Hey Nnick, I know where you can get a cedar soundpost-

Below me!

Cam-no one is going to sell a pre-made cedar post. All home centers sell cedar[wrc] 1 1/2 X 1 1/2's . You'd have to whittle your own.

Thanks Jeff...

as far as why I would like one is as reedo said...I would like to experiment with it....I've been told Cedar is a very warm sounding and light wood. A peer of mine at CCM has a bass made completely out of cedar and it is one of the warmest sounding instruments in the studio....

so my reason is just curiosity.

Thanks guys
