Crack in the fretboard, is this serious?

Hi!
I just got my NS Design Wav4 bass about a month ago, and I just realised two days ago that it has this crack on the end of the fretboard... I think it looked little smaller when I first noticed it and today when I looked it I felt like it was "growing" towards the headstock. the crack is about 8,5cm long. Here's a picture of it (Sorry about the bad picture quality, only camera i have is my cellphone camera! :/ )

Not a big deal really. Take it to your favourite repairperson and they should be able to stop it from spreading any further.

this is something I've read has had happen to other WAV4 owners. You should contact the place of purchase or NS Design to see about getting a replacement. You should also look over on the Electric upright section, there are many WAV4 owners there who can give you better advice.
