Anyone recommend a good double bass luthier in the San Francisco/ Sacramento area? I live closer to Sacramento but am willing to drive for good repair work. Thanks.

I had my fingerboard planed and he did a nice job.

He's my favorite setup guy in northern California. I take almost all of my basses to him for setup work.
