doublebass bridges suppliers

Hi there, i modify bass bridges for a hobby ,eg, i carve designs into them , and was wandering does anyone know where i can get a steady supply of reasonable quality bridges in the uk, for cheap!

you could always make them, if you like to carve things it certainly would be alot of carving, and you could make them the way you like them

not practical to make your own..for many reasons..look on line for a supplier such as Despiau,Aubert, etc..as with most things you get what you pay for,the cheap ones are just that, inferior and short lived. good luck..be careful not to jeopardize the strength of the bridge carving too much.
pros: they look sweet and personalize the bass if done right.
cons: like any bridge i have a window full of carved ones that were set up wrong from the start or over time warped ,cracked ,etc.
