I don't think there will be much of a weight difference, it's just a shim. Maybe use less whalebone/silver wrapping at the other end. |

I would assume 1-2 grams difference at the most, if I was thinking, I would have weighed the bow before/after.. |

African Ebony: ~ 1.1 gm/cc
Elephant Ivory: ~ 1.8 gm/cc
Ox Bone: ~ 2.0 gm/cc |
