from GollihurMusic the other day, does anyone know what size reamer each needs?

The reamer for a bass endpin is huge and very expensive, about $400. For the ebony tuners, I use a cello peg reamer, sometimes the very start of a cello endpin reamer. It`s always best to take these operations to a qualified luthier; it`s very easy to get the hole too big, and not fun to have to fix it.

Hey Joe, thanks. I didn't know Bob was selling a CF endpin.

+1 on the professional installation. Unless you plan on installing a LOT of those tuners its cheaper to just take the bass to somebody who already has the tools and the knowledge.
