Full circle replacing adjusters problem

Hi guys. I've got a bass with adjusters and want to install a full circle pickup. However my adjusters are a wheel on a screw which is all threads. It seems to be glued into the top half of the bridge. Do you think it will be possible to remove it and replace with the full circle or do I need a new bridge? I would of course attempt to fit the full circle myself but was intrested to know if it's possible for a luthier?

Cheers Geoff

You should be able to get the screws out. Just hit them with some heat. You may have to drill out the holes slightly then. Do the adjusters match the thread of the FC?

I think so. I will take them to my luthier but it's a long drive so I wanted to see if there was a good chance first.
Thanks for the reply :-)

If the hole in the foot is larger than needed for the threaded portion of the FC, you'll need to glue a dowel in the hole and re-drill. not a big deal, really

I do this all the time. I use a tapered dowel used for peg bushings and a reamer.
