Question Glue

I have a Chinese plywood DB. Near the bottom, on one side, the back has started to seperate at the seam. What kind of glue would you recommend?

Hide glue!

Preparation of hide glue and closing seams is a skilled practice done by professional luthiers. You forgot to mention clamps, you'll need those to close up the seam..

Gluing a seam is a relatively inexpensive repair, do you not have access to a professional luthier in your area?

some explanation and pictures

It's a good idea to go to a luthier first to know how it's done and to buy the right glue.

Here you can see how I did it:

upgrade and filling up the cracks
