Question How to choose a bridge ...

Hello everyone

Well, I am thinking of change the bridge of my double bass, but then I want to know more about bridges to order.
I know there are big names of bridge builders, as Despiau, Aubert, Teller, etc ... but I found a German manufacturer that has a bridge that call me particular attention ... Double Bass French bridge Justro.
I am posting the link for y'all to see and give me an opinion.

Thank's a lot.

Thanks for the link. He seems to make nice high quality bridges. I'm going to give him a try. The French Justro should sound fine.

Hello

I've been researching and I'm confuso ... do not know if I choose Justro A-quality or Despiau CT6 two trees.
The Justro looks better on the wood, but I'm afraid the high legs...

Thanks a lot.

I use the Despiau CT6 pattern almost exclusively and I'm very happy with the results. No complaints from the clients either!

I'm with Jake. The other bridge looks cool, but I like to have the largest "heart" left in the bridge possible. Depending on the neck set you could run into problems with the Justro. IMHO.

TMSP, try this outlet for good Despiau at a decent price:

I think the Despiau "three tree" is the best quality.

Since you won't be changing the bridge again for a long time, I'd suggest spending the few extra dollars now and it'll last even longer and you'll have better quality wood and sound, too.
