How to fill in a chip on the bridge?

I sucessfully lowered the action at the Nut where I want it, but somewhere in taking the strings in and out of the grooves there is a small chip in the bridge (A string) so that the A string does not set up nicely like it did before. It now has a slot just a little wider than the A string. I don't want to file down as the action is just right. Is there a material for filling in just a little so the opening is not so wide? Then I could put the little V groove back in like it was. This is a very small chip so I'm not worried about structure.
