Joella Extensions?

Hey everyone,

I hate to start yet another thread about extensions, but I quite curious about Ben's extensions.

First, I know that Ben Joella is a TBer (Hi Ben). I have contacted him about his extensions, but I was wondering whether anyone has any personal experience with them, as I am considering purchasing one.

Here are some pictures

The design seems pretty innovative. I have seen many extensions of all sorts of quality that can't really be tuned after they are installed. This extension remedies it, as the capos are quite movable.

The price is pretty low, compared to other extensions I've seen, too.

Has anyone played one? Own one? If so, I would love to hear your opinion(s)!

Alex

My stand partner had Ben put on one of his extensions last season, and it has been great. Ben has put a great deal of thought into the design and he does very nice work.

Very, very interesting. Firstly the kit is very interesting. Secondly the price is very decent. Many other luthiers are charging up to twice the price.
