KC Strings endpin

I just bought the KC Strings endpin tip and had a machinist fit it to my endpin. Their tip is rounded on the bottom and I thought it might grab better at an angle, then the crutch tip I had on there.
It works very very well. When I practice I often sit, and even standing I seem to have the bass at an angle, and it is always slipping out from under me. this new tip sticks like glue even sitting with the bass at a serious angle....check it out...kcstrings.com

I have their whole pin. It is VERY well designed. For the conventional design, it may be the best out there.

retrofit

Flatback,
I've machined a threaded rod to fit the female threads of the KC strings rubber stopper and the female threads of the Camelopard end pin. It works great and now sounds as good with the rubber foot as it does with the spike. Thanks a ton. I won't even mention how much easier it is to handle the bass while playing.
