Laborie Endpin - Where to buy?

Does anyone know where to buy Laborie endpins? I have Googled and don't come up with a place to buy one, just lots of discussion about them. My bass already has the right hole - I just need different length pin.

And while I'm on the subject, why isn't someone making a Rabbath-style angled endpin that is adjustable? I don't see any reason why it couldn't be done. Yes, if your endpin was long it would need something to stop the pin from going too far inside the bass and damaging it, but that also could be easily engineered. It might have to be made in 3 lengths (short / medium / tall), but the adjustability would avoid the agony of fine tuning the length of a Laborie pin. Oops, cut too much off, guess I have to buy a whole new one! Thats just ridiculous.

Yes, I know about the egg pin, but neither version would work on my (old) bass without modification, its heavy to carry around, and a pain to install each time you want to play. Why doesn't Laborie or Gotz make an adjustable angled pin? What am I missing here?

www.newharmonymusic.com David Bice makes an improved version, with or without a removable tip (which includes a sharpened steel spike). You may need to contact him because I don't see it on his website.

I'll check these out

Thanks Arnold and TYB507. I guess I should have specified that I live in the USA. Ordering from Bassworks Australia might be a tad spendy for the shipping.

I did find the cello endpins on the New Harmony Music site. Arnold, is that what you were thinking of, or does David make an endpin specific to the bass (and matching diameter of the Laborie endpin?). I will call them in the morning.

And... just in case the New Harmony endpins won't work, I guess I'm still looking for a USA source for the Laborie endpin.

Thanks!
