My new repair shop

I couldn't resist, I have to brag a little. I feel quite spoiled with this much space..

Ah Cody, you make me jealous.
I wish i could visit your shop, just to feel the spirit.
Your clients are lucky.
Best wishes

Nice! I wish I could apprentice under someone and learn the luthier trade. I have always done all my own work and am always reading and learning about bass luthiery, but it's hard to get into. I was a Harley-Davidson technician, but it's not quite the same ballgame..... I have all the wrong tools.

I have Jeff Sahs right in my own neighborhood, might have to go pester him some time.

**** that's incredibly clean! It'll be more homey when there's some clutter.

Nice, but you need some bass porn posters on the walls!

Congratulations! There's something really magical and exciting about a new shop space. I hope that the cash flows well, for a long, long time.

Yea, me too. I got 3 guys working in half that space with more than twice as much stuff.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I hope to keep it clean as the front door and windows face the front of our violin shop. I want customers to be able to see the repair/construction. Too many shops hide their repair department these days. For this reason, I'm gonna try and keep it clean.

If/when I start building my bass, I'm sure the amount of clutter will double..

Looks great Cody, nice to be able to get up and look forward to coming to work, which is, as it should be!

Aloha
