MY REVAMP!!!!

i am going to revamp my crappy cheopo double bass
The tone sounds really bright. It isnt warm at all and i think that's partly because of the tail piece. Which seems to be made out of either ceramic or metal. The fingerboard needs to be re-leveled and id like to get a better bridge. Any tips on my tone would be good
