Yup, he said it's done and I'm going to visit tomorrow to pick it up. It was pretty expensive ($750) but he looks like he knows what he's doing, so its probably worth it. We'll see tomorrow...

I picked up the Dietl this morning and the Shen is all done. It looks good.

Shen SB 80 neck repair

I picked up both repairs from Alex Friedman yesterday and didn't see the Shen on its stand. How did it turn out for you?

Well... its fixed! It plays the same as if it didn't break and the break is not so noticible (if you're standing a couple of feet away). I think he did a good job overall.
My wallet feels a lot lighter too.

Could you post a photo of the repair? That way we would have the "before and after" to look at.
